In order to get this feature, you must get invited from the one who already has this Whatsapp payment feature. After updating your Whatsapp, you must relaunch it and add your Bank details on the settings page. Note that the payments will work only with the mobile number which is registered with your bank. Once you added the bank details, now you can send or receive payments from your friends or family.
As of now, only selected users are provided with this payment feature. But it will be updated in a wider base in the upcoming weeks. India is one of the topmost countries to avail this Whatsapp payment feature. This is sure to give tough competition to other digital payment services like Paytm and Google Tez.
